Batting Masterclass with Darren Maddy

The next Batting Masterclass from Complete Cricket is to be led by an England International, Darren Maddy. We are delighted to announce details of the next in our highly successful Batting Masterclasses.

The next Complete Cricket Batting Masterclass will be led by ex-England, Leicestershire and current Warwickshire CCC batsman, Darren Maddy. Darren has played an amazing 266 First Class games scoring over 13,000 runs with a high score of 229*.

Darren MaddyDarren Maddy has represented England in all three formats of the game as well as captaining Warwickshire CCC in the 2007/8 season helping them to achieve promotion to the 1st tier of championship cricket. Darren is also a very useful medium pace bowler taking over 230 first class wickets and a world class fielder.

The Complete Cricket Batting Masterclass will focus on batting in Twenty20 cricket. This is a format that all young players are playing on a weekly basis. Darren Maddy has been one of world’s most successful batsman in Twenty20 and in 2006 became the first batsman in the world past 1000 20/20 runs. This batting masterclass will also give aspiring batsman the opportunity to learn techniques, mental skills and physical skills required to succeed at the highest level of the sport.
