I just wanted to say a big thank you to the Complete Cricket coaching team. I enjoyed the winter coaching sessions immensely, all members of the coaching staff were very knowledgeable and friendly and my game has come on in leaps and bounds thanks to their efforts. We are about a third of the way into the season now and my batting average is double what it was at this point last year! Thanks again.
My last 3 scores were, 25*, 40*, 17* and I've had 5 n.o.'s in my 8 innings so far this season. So thanks again for all your hard work, it is much appreciated. See you in the winter.

Cheswick Green Junior School.
I arranged for Complete Cricket to deliver a 7 week coaching course during the Summer term at Cheswick Green Primary School.
David Smith was very competent and professional in all his dealings with the children and staff. Despite the awful weather, all the sessions were fitted in and the children, both boys and girls and a mix of ages, worked with enthusiasm, thoroughly enjoying the sessions.
David managed to extend the ability of the children who had previous experience of playing cricket and also combine this with teaching the basics for the other children.
I believe that it has encouraged some of them to go on and join local cricket clubs, we hope to arrange another course during this school year.
Ruth Boam
Bentley Heath School Sports Co-ordinator
Complete Cricket Coaching has been in place at Bentley Heath Primary School since early 2008 and both staff and children are delighted with their training.
Initially I booked CCC to run an after-school club for the Juniors, it proved to be so popular, we extended it down to KS1.
As PE Co-ordinator, you recognize that children may not have as many opportunities to develop their throwing and catching skills as they once had, hence it's vital to get them involved playing team games, developing strategies and technical skills and cricket is the perfect game in which to learn that.
The Team have been friendly and approachable (the kids love them!) and find time to come into school to participate in Celebration Assemblies, recognizing the progress and talents of the children in the club. I know it's a winner when the older children complain that the club hasn't been running, even when it's been snowing outside!
Mike Palmer
Hampton & Solihull Cricket Club Captain
Hampton & Solihull Cricket Club is a new club established in 2007, following the merger of two of the borough's oldest clubs - Hampton-in-Arden and Solihull.
Obviously, as with any new venture the first year has been extremely challenging and we have been delighted with the support provided by Complete Cricket. From the outset, we firmly believed that the provision of junior cricket was vital to our success but we also recognized the need for quality coaching and teaching; Chris and Dave have provided this in abundance together with a structured approach to the evening sessions.
Next year we are looking to continue and develop our association with Complete Cricket; providing a number of junior matches and improving the practice facilities to include grass practice wickets. The youth section is crucial to our future growth and Complete Cricket are a key part of the clubs ambitions.

Bishop Challoner Sports Co-ordinator
Complete Cricket started to coach for our Partnership schools in the summer of 2008. Right from the start, David and his team of coaches proved to be very popular with all the pupils they were coaching. The extra curricular club which was set up for KS3 girls has had a great impact on girls who had never played cricket before. David approached each coaching session with enthusiasm and professionalism. Now two terms on, the girls' skills, personal performance and knowledge of the game has improved considerably. They have managed to play confidently in two partnership fixtures and represented the school in cricket for the first time!
The "Complete Cricket" team, have also worked successfully with our Primary Schools, providing high quality coaching to a wide variety of mixed ability children. The team of coaches working with David have demonstrated great organisation, super communication and outstanding teaching skills with all children involved. All of our Primary pupils are now so enthusiastic about playing cricket!
I can honestly say the standard of coaching and delivery from the Complete Cricket team is very high. I would recommend this coaching company to any school or club who is looking to develop cricket for young people!

I have to thank Dave Smith and his team at Complete Cricket for their efforts with Dominic over the past 12 months. Having failed to get through county selection at the end of 2007 i sought the help of Complete Cricket to work on all aspects of Dominics Batting, the results of which have been outstanding. Dave and Chris explained to Dominic the areas of his game that they thought could be improved in a manner that was easy to absorb, they also worked on the mental aspect of shot selection and patience. As a direct result of their structured coaching Dominic had an amazing year scoring over 2700 runs at an average of just over 60, these runs came in both junior and senior cricket showing how well prepared he was by Complete Cricket to step up to all challenges. Highlights from 2008 have included 3 centuries, a 50 on debut for K&D sunday first XI, being part of the K&D Premier league winning squad. Dominic now looks forward to the winter of 2008 and working again with Dave and Chris in the hope that he can continue this improvement into 2009.

Complete Cricket covers all aspects of cricket coaching, using group and individual sessions as well as master classes. We have found the one to one batting and bowling coaching to be uniformly excellent, providing tailored development and variety, and the master class on wicket-keeping provided a great insight into the craft. The coaches are all highly qualified and enthusiastic, and create a positive and stretching learning environment that has really helped my son's technical progress and appreciation for the great game. In his own words - "it's good fun and helps you concentrate on the things you need to improve on, and I really enjoy it very much". I only wish that I had access to coaching like this during my formative years learning the game ..."

Just a note to say thank you for the cricket camp my son, George Hale, attended a couple of weeks ago. He had a great time - luckily the weather was just perfect for cricket. He was enthusiatic about the game and has decided to ask to play the position of wicket keeper for the school next summer and may even join a local cricket team next year.
Thank you once again for all the time and effort you and your colleagues put into the cricket camps. I really appreciate the fact that George has had a chance to really enjoy playing cricket and it has kept him from being bored during the summer holiday.

There are loads of sporting opportunities locally but 'Complete Cricket' has proved to be an excellent one for our boys.
All very keen to play cricket they started with the summer courses and have continued with the winter coaching.
They have really enjoyed the sessions both the training aspects and playing match type games and we have seen their skills and love for the game developing.
The coaches are super role models, providing a great atmosphere of challenge and competition but also 'sport for all' ,encouraging and seemingly enjoying, the younger boys as they throw themselves into the game!
With the emphasis on effort, sportsmanship and developing skills including personal discipline and confidence, are boys are receiving valuable life skills alongside great cricket coaching.

I am writing to let you know how much my son (Oliver Nesbitt) enjoyed the half term cricket coaching course at Tudor Grange.
He''s sport mad but was so excited about the 2 days with you and your coaching team.
He's even showing me the correct wrist position for a seam bowler andthrowing down a few 'leggies' not bad for a 6 year old - your influence and coaching methods certainly 'hit the spot' with Oli.
He's now keen to get involved on a more regular basis.

My son received 1 to 1 coaching from Complete Cricket throughout last winter. They took time to understand his game technically and also to get to know him as a boy. His batting has improved dramatically in all areas of the game and, just as importantly, his mental approach has been transformed. This summer he made over 250 runs before being dismissed, including his first century. I also receive regular calls to check on his progress. I feel the combination of technical knowhow, personally tailored coaching, overall cricket support/advice, whilst also having fun, makes complete cricket an outstanding proposition in the cricket development market.

I would just like to thank you Chris and the team for the excellent coaching that both my sons Olly 15 and Ben 7 have received not only in the summer but also the winter nets.
I am already been badgered by both of them to arrange nets and training sessions for this winter and i am also tempted to have a net myself to see if I can improve the lack of runs!
To summarise great fun and proffessionally done.

'Both of my sons (age 14 & 11) have really enjoyed playing cricket with Complete Cricket over the last couple of years be it in 1:1 lessons, nets sessions or the holiday cricket courses-especially the World Cup competitions on a Friday. Dave and his team are always very positive and encouraging and give the same level of attention to each child irrespective of their level of ability. The atmosphere is always happy and relaxed, which has meant that the boys have really improved technically and feel more confident when they play.
My youngest son has recently been involved with the Warwickshire cricket trials and, with Dave and Chris's excellent support, has been selected to train with the Development of Excellence Squad.'

I have known David Smith as a cricketer and coach for over three years. His reputation within the Birmingham league and for Knowle and Dorridge Cricket club needs no introduction.
His team are fine example of how modern cricketers at grass roots and at competitive senior club levels can shape the future of young players. In accommodating all levels of ability and standard Complete Cricket covers the full breadth of needs in enjoying and exploring this wonderful sport.
The growing reputation of Complete Cricket for exciting and careful development of our players of the future at all ages is now well set. My 10 year old son has been coached by David's team for the past four years and I can honestly say that he has developed as a cricketer beyond his expectations, and looks forward to nothing more in his week. His excitement for the new season knows no bounds. It's about nothing else......pure enjoyment. All good.

David Smith and his team of coaches have provided my sons with a fabulous introduction to cricket, including winter nets and holiday camps.
The individual attention my children have recieved is second to none,my eldest child whom has always been very quiet, shy and lacked self confidence has totally flourished under Dave and other coaches wings. His confidence and ability to develop within his cricket has been utterly surprising, which he has taken through to many other aspects of his daily life.
I cant recommend Complete Cricket highly enough and would urge any parent who is considering any sports coaching for their child, to look no further than David and his team, they are always professional, enthusiastic and caring. Every child is treated as an individual.
I can truly say the Complete Cricket coaches are a breath of fresh air.

Hi David.
We're off back home to NZ next week, and wanted to thank you for the last 2 years of cricket! Nathan has loved every second of it, and is now totally obsessed by all things cricket! The improvement he has also made over these 2 years is just phenomenal. He's now really looking forward to playing in competitions back home come the summer. Thank you very much! (He wants to say something now!)
Nathan: Thank you. I really enjoyed it. I Iiked the matches the best because I like batting and bowling. On the tournament (last year) I liked the one we won and I got the winning wicket.
